Workshop Outline:
The 10th edition of CSA B139 is here, and in it are a number of key changes for enhanced safety in the installation and use of oil-burning equipment. This workshop will cover the changes undergone in this edition and the interface between the National Building Code of Canada and the National Fire Code of Canada. The 2019 edition is a major overhaul since the 2015 edition which includes specific requirements applicable to diesel driven fire pump installations. We will explore where NFPA 20 and CSA B139 conflict and how resolution is sought in these circumstances
